Course Recipients

The Continuing Education Course for Expert Mediators in international matters, cross-border disputes and in the field of consumer relations, aims to maintain specialized training, provided for by current legislation, and is aimed at all those who are already Expert Mediators in international matters, cross-border disputes and in the field of consumer relations and who, as provided for by art. 25, paragraphs no. 3 of Ministerial Decree 150/2023, therefore wish to continue to be qualified to manage conciliation proceedings in consumer matters under the jurisdiction of the respective Authorities.


Course objectives

The course aims to provide specialized training for Mediators, already registered in the Register held by the Ministry of Justice, who wish to maintain the qualification of Expert Mediators in international matters, cross-border disputes and in the matter of consumer relations, provided for by current legislation, and who have the obligation to train for at least 4 hours over the course of every two years.


Course duration

For the purposes of confirming inclusion in the list referred to in Article 3, paragraphs 3, letters b) and c), 6 and 7 of Ministerial Decree 150/2023, the Body, as a Training Body, within the deadline set by Article 15, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Decree 150/2023, certifies for each Expert Mediator participation in training courses in the subjects indicated in paragraph 2, for no less than four hours in the two-year period divided into modules to be carried out in person or via audiovisual connection in synchronous mode.

The theoretical modules intended for the training of mediators who are experts in international matters, cross-border disputes and consumer relations have as their object:

a) national and supranational consumer protection legislation;b) judicial, extrajudicial, consensual and joint consumer protection;c) rights and protections in cross-border disputes.


Qualifying certificate issued by the Conciliation Body Concordia et Ius

Mediators who have attended the Course will be issued the Certificate of Continuing Education as an Expert Mediator in international matters, cross-border disputes and in the field of consumer relations.

The Certificate will be sent, via email to the address indicated in the request form, and will maintain the qualification for Mediators for the following activities, upon registration, following membership in an accredited Body, in the Register of Mediators registered with the Conciliation Bodies, held at the Ministry of Justice:

  • Management of mandatory conciliation procedures in energy matters (electricity and gas) and voluntary conciliation procedures relating to the water system, at the Conciliation Bodies accredited by the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment (ARERA).
  • Management of mandatory conciliation procedures in the field of telephony, Internet and pay-TV at the conciliation bodies accredited by the Communications Regulatory Authority AGCOM.
  • Management of mandatory conciliation procedures between economic operators who manage transport networks, infrastructures and services and users or consumers, pursuant to Article 10 of Law 5 August 2022, no. 118, at the Conciliation Bodies accredited by ART.


Registration fee

The registration fee for the Course is €80.00 (VAT exempt)

Any cancellations must be communicated at least fifteen days before the beginning of the Course. After this date, no type of refund is foreseen.

The Organization reserves the right to cancel the Course and in that case, any fees already paid will be fully refunded.
