Current regulations

The Conciliation Body Concordia et Ius srl operates in compliance with Legislative Decree no. 149 of 10 October 2022, implementing the delegation conferred to the Government with Law no. 206 of 26 November 2021, among other things "for the efficiency of the civil process and for the revision of the regulation of alternative dispute resolution tools" and intended to encourage Mediation as a measure to reduce judicial litigation, intervening on Legislative Decree no. 28 of 4 March 2010 in order to ensure a better quality of the Mediation Service and a greater qualification of the Bodies interested in providing, on the one hand, the Service itself and, on the other, the Training necessary for the purposes of registering Mediators in the appropriate Lists referred to in Article 3, paragraph 3, of Ministerial Decree no. 180 of 18 October 2010.


To this end, Article 7, paragraph 1, letter v) of Legislative Decree no. 149 of 10 October 2022 amended and integrated Article 16 of Legislative Decree no. 28 of 4 March 2010, intervening on the requirements that Mediation Bodies must possess for the purposes of registration and remaining in the specific Register referred to in Article 3 of Ministerial Decree no. 180 of 18 October 2010, while with the subsequent letter z) it inserted Article 16-bis in order to similarly regulate the requirements that Mediation training bodies must satisfy in order to register and remain in the specific List referred to in Article 17 of Ministerial Decree no. 180 of 18 October 2010.
